“portable gallery” and head to

Baraboo, Wisconsin for the

24th annual Native American

During his third year as

River

Trading Post Artist in Residence

,

Cliff Fragua is expanding his

time honored expression and

tradition through his first-ever

bronze series entitled

Shawl

Dancers

.

This landmark Fragua series

will consist of four individual

bronze sculptures. Each will

celebrate one of the four sea-

sons and the shawl dancing

tradition.

Each

Shawl Dancer

carries a

rich patina, in the classic Fra-

gua way, and wonderfully por-

trays the feel of each season,

from fresh spring green to sum-

mer heat; vibrant fall color and

winter’s chill.

Spring, Summer, Autumn

and

Winter

will stand approxi-

mately 14 to 17 inches tall, so

that your entire series can be

beautifully grouped and show-

cased in your home or dis-

played to help you celebrate

each season in your own very

special way.

Shawl Dancers

will be cast in a

very limited edition of 18, and

will be available by series or by

season, with series orders tak-

ing precedence.

Shawl Dancers

will be unveiled

at River Trading Post, Santa Fe

just prior to the 2008 Santa Fe

Indian Market.

Visitors to River Trading Post,

Scottsdale may see work in

progress on the

Shawl Dancers

series.
