This classic Athabaskan Indian jacket is from about 1890.

It is made of smoked horse hide.  Cut in Royal Canadian Mountie style, it has a stand up collar, large brass buttons with a maple leaf pattern, red blanket trim and spot stitch beadwork. 
  
While you probably would not want to wear this museum classic, it would fit a small to medium sized man.
