The River Trading Post Layaway Plan

We, at River Trading Post, want to accommodate our valued collectors in many ways, including the ability to make interest-free payments (layaway) when purchasing an item.  We make it very easy for you, and we provide you with your own private "Layaway Page" so that you can make payments for your favorite items right through our website.

There are a few conditions that we have in order to provide this service.  Here is how it works:

• If you see an item that you would like to put on layaway, just send an e-mail to us:  trader@rivertradingpost.com.  Tell us the catalogue ID of the item that you wish to place on layaway.  You will receive an e-mail back from us that includes the information you need to access your personal "Layaway Page" where you can make your initial deposit for the item. (You also may call us during business hours toll-free at 866-426-6901.)

• The minimum price of an item eligible for our layaway program is $300.

• A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total layaway amount is required.  Upon receipt of the deposit, your item will be posted as "sold" on our website.

• Full payment must be received within 90 days, and regular payments must be received at least every 30 days.

• If  you cancel your order for any reason, or if payment terms aren't met, we regretfully will have to cancel the agreement and return the item to stock.

• If the agreement is cancelled, any credit balance remaining in your account will be returned to you as a store credit.  No refunds will be given.
  
  

• Upon completion of payments, your item will promptly be shipped to you.
