Catalogue Number: 2131 Sioux Man's quilled breastplate. Crosses and stepped chevrons quilled in yellow, purple and white on rawhide slats against a red quilled ground. Backed and bordered with patterned cotton and a brass button in the center. Five sets of quilled drops with tin cones and yellow and red feathers hang at the side. One small section of center ribbon is missing. Quillwork is excellent.
