Navajo artist Ronald Chee

draws a crowd wherever he

goes. And no wonder.

The personable artist has gar-

nered awards from prestigious

places such as the Heard Mu-

seum, the San Diego Museum

and others. His work is featured

in many museum shops, includ-

ing the Smithsonian, Heard, the

Fine Arts Museum in Santa Fe

and the Southwest Museum in

Los Angeles.

While best known for his ex-

ceptional Yei interpretations,

Chee constantly is experiment-

ing with a variety of acrylics,

monotypes and other media to

render contemporary expres-

sions of age old Navajo tradi-

tion.

Not surprisingly, Ronald

Chee’s work is in great de-

mand.

An extensive grouping of his

original work is featured at both

River Trading Post galleries, as

well as at the River Trading

Post website.
